Dana: It is weird when you think about! Funny how the body works, eh? Werid huh? Too the circle of friends, Dana Mallett -----Original Message----- From: Chandra A. There are some OB-GYNs that encourage women to have sex while on their periods. Because: 1) It decreases the intensity of menstrual cramps. 2) During orgasms, it causes the uterine muscles to contract causing them to squeeze the menstrual tissue out of the body. I'm not saying run out and do it, this is merely hear-say. I hope you find this helpful. What do you think? I don't think any of us should be concerned about whether or not we used tampons. Tampons are not the cause of endo. If endo was caused by retrograde menstrual flow nearly every woman would have it. Most endo experts believe that retrograde flow occurs in nearly every woman who menstruates. There has to be more to the development of endo. Many people believe that the immune system is involved. A month or so ago I did some research on this. If you would like to see what I found please email me. Take care. Michele
