Noeleen -
I have had the same kind of pain that you are describing. I would hurt from
the small of my back all the way down to my ankles (this includes my behind
of course).
In 1997 I had a 'scope performed and told that I had stage I "Mild" endo.
In June '98 (one and a half years later as the pain got worse after the
first 'scope) I had a second 'scope that showed that I was indeed stage IV
"Severe" endo. Also, at the time of the second 'scope I was diagnosed with
IBS. My Dr. suggested that I try the "Zone" way of eating and take fish oil
pills for the IBS. These two things have helped the IBS.
So, the answer to your question is you are not a hypochodriac or crazy.
Hopefully you can find a specialist that will listen to you and find the
reason for your pain.
Good Luck! God Bless!
Cyndy
