Re: Painful day, question for allFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netFri Aug 28 11:08:38 1998
Tamara: I've had hot flashes the entire time I've been on Lupron (I'm in my 6th month now) and I was always most uncomfortable the week after I received my shot. I think that it affects women differently. I hope that you are feeling better soon. I have two questions for you all first, I had my 6th and final Lupron on Tuesday. It seems for a few days afterwards and that day I am terribly uncomfortable. Hot flashes, pain, all that. My doc said that that is impossible because the Lupron is at a constant level all the time, even right after the shot. My next qustion/comment. During my Tuesday appt. the ultrasound showed 11 small cysts on my Left ovary and 6 on my right. Also, my right ovary is behind my uterus!! I had 2 laps in April. Does this sound normal? Today was a painful day, I have tried camilloie (sp?) tea and have had no real affect. Any suggestions? Thanks everyone for being there for me, this forum really helps me. Tammy
