Next in thread: Chandra: "Re: an update...." Hi Karen-- I don't know exactly how long I have had endo, but my migraines began in January. They got so bad that I was missing weeks of work! My doctor had told me that the migraines were probably due to the fact that I was on the pill and am a smoker, and so the blood vessels in my head were restricted (a risk of birth control pills that smoking aggrevates). As a result, I had a laproscopy and went on zyban... It is now 6 months later, and the migraines--as well as the cysts--have returned. I have inquired to friends in the medical field, who are telling me that doctors are beginning to research the correlation between migraines and endometriosis...
