Dear Deb, Thank you so much for those loving words of encouragement. They made a difference today. If anything, I would think that a mother living with endo would be a great role model for children. I know that watching my mother win her battle against cancer taught me that I have the power within myself to overcome anything, and it made me see my mother in a new light. As far as genetics, there are so many genetic disorders out there that we can pass on to our children, ones that we may not even be aware that we carry, that it is unfair to us as parents to worry about passing these things on to our children. I say enjoy being a parent, and if, God forbid, your children do inherit this condition, at least that is a road that you have already walked down, and your knowledge and experience can help your children to defeat this early on. Good luck to all, and God bless, Deb
