All- I have heard of Ultram but my doctor has never mentioned it to me. I have been on Tylenol3, Vicodin, and now Percoset. All very addictive, which is no secret. Is the Ultram better than the Narcotics? Or since they are all addictive are they not good for you? My God I am so confusing....Anyone have any answers?

Tami,

I don't recall my physician saying anything about Ultram being addictive. I only took it for a day -- the side effects (nausea) were debilitating ... and I had no idea to expect that (I was on a business trip).

I've had great relief from Vicodin, but since that is potentially addictive, I use it very sparingly.

Good luck in your quest.
