Re: laparot oh me...oh myFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netSun Aug 16 10:36:28 1998
hello, i'm not sure if responding to this mail will send it to an individual or if it goes to the endo message board. i added my name to the endo quilt and then all of a sudden i was getting all this mail. i wish that i had the time to read everything that i get however, i often do not. i have not tried to get my name off the list because sometimes i do get a moment to myself to read some of the mail. i also have a very ard time connecting back to the endo home page. at this point i'm not even sure exactly where this mailing list comes from. any who and how..... i gotta tell ya, after 17 yrs of abdomianl pain....many laporoscopies and countless doctors...literally hundreds of emergency room visits...i have found some peace in taking depot lupron. sure the hot flashes are enough to drive ya insane but not having my period and ending up in the er for pain control is like having a new life. this is my second regimine of lupron ... i was on it for six months then when i stopped it, the pain returned, sooooo my doc... after me begging him not to go back into surgery....he put me back on the lupron. so far so good. yet i gotta tell ya i also have interstitial cystitis and this adds some complications. i just want to put my two cents in about lupron. i have had good luck with the treatment, and in my humble opinion i would recommend it to someone with endo. take care, kara
