Sarah, To the best of my knowledge, a miscarriage can scar the inside of the uterus. With this disease, what doesn't scar! As I understand, cysts form on surfaces. The medication DUPHALAC (generic = Lactulose) each 15ml of soulution contains 10g lactulose (and less than 1.6 g galactose, less than 1.2g lactose, 1.2g or less of other sugars) Therapeutic level is obtained within 24 to 48 hours. Thus making this a daily routine dosage is important, not PRN (as needed). It is marketed by SOLVAY PHARMACEUTICALS, Marietta, FA 30062 NDC 0032-1602-78-6505-01-132-4609. You can contact your pharmacist for exact chemical components, I don't have that available. I do know that geriatric medicine requrests least invasive, most effective processes.
