Have you heard of Dr. John Steege?
His information:
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology
Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology
Chief, Division of Gynecology
Phone: (919)-966-7764
Fax: (919)-966-5833
E-Mail jfsteege@med.unc.edu
Mailing Address: CB#7570, UNC-Chapel Hill
Chapel Hill, NC 27599-7570
Also, look at the site pelvicpain.org. If you type in his last name, it
will give you his info. & you can also research other docs in your
area.
You can call and ask about insurance. Unfortunately, endometriosis is a
disease where the lining ends up outside of the uterus--in our pelvic
cavity. If during a hysterectomy, ALL of the endo lesions are not
removed, it will remain and eventually respond to the body's hormones
and become active again.
I hope you find relief!
