Re: Endometriosis after hysterectomyFrom: jane (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue Jul 21 18:53:17 2009
I had my uterus removed 3 yrs ago. I was doing ok and then just recently within the last 5 mths I have noticed alot more pain. Just yesterday my right side and pelvis pains were do sharp. I really had trouble getting around. I went to my primary doctor last week and she did give me some hydrocodone. I hadn't used it for years. I can not believe endo could be back... But after reading from other women I realize it could. Thought all my problems went ways side with the surgery. I totally understand what you are feeling. Does anytone recommend a really good specialist in or near Raliegh NC that is a specialist in Endometriosis. I feel like I am going crazy and yes I was referred to a psych because the endo could not be there. The surgeon checked and he said that there was none and that is that... He is the MD and I am not. How fustrating.... We know our bodies.... We all just want to get better. I had to leave my job because of all this and now trying to find one with this pain... AHH... ***Edited by Moderator on duty for easier reading. ****
