I AM 27 YEARS OLD AND I GOT DIAGNOSED WITH ENDOMETRIOSIS IN APRIL.  I HAVE BEEN IN A LOT OF PAIN FOR THAT LAST FEW MONTHS.  MY DOCTOR TOLD ME THAT HE WANTED TO TRY LUPRON.  I RESEARCHED IT A LOT BEFORE I DECIDED ON GETTING IT.  I HAVE BEEN ON IT NOW FOR 1 1/2 MONTHS.  THE WORST SIDE EFFECT FOR ME IS THE HOT FLASHES.  I STILL HAVE PAIN BUT IT IS A LOT EASIER TO DEAL WITH THAN BEFORE THE SHOT.  I RECOMMEND DOING YOUR RESEARCH AND COMING TO THE BEST CHOICE FOR YOU.  LUPRON EFFECTS EVERYONE DIFFERENT.  IF YOU DO DECIDE TO GET IT I SUGGEST TAKING SOME SORT OF CALCIUM SUPPLEMENT, AS LUPRON CAN CAUSE SOME BONE DENSITY LOSS.  ASK YOUR DOCTOR ABOUT AD-BACK THERAPY.  THE ADD-BACK THERAPY HELPS WITH THE HOT FLASHES AND OTHER SIDE EFFECTS.
