Hey Liliana,

I just had my first laporoscopy a couple weeks ago...In my experience, the procedure is nothing for you to fret or fear.  I was a little nervous going in of course, but the overall hospital experience was really not that bad.  As far as the anesthetics go, I didn't have any problems.  Before going in for surgery prep, I was given some medicine to get me relaxed, about 30 minutes before the anesthesia.  Once they put the anesthesia in the IV, I was asleep within ten seconds or so.  I was a little disoriented when waking up, but no, I didn't feel awful, just a little groggy.  The p us like I would have thought.  After the surgery, I was a little nauseous for a few hours, but really not that bad.  Don't worry yourself too much! You're in good hands.  Laparoscopies are very common procedures, and you'll be just fine!
