Recovering from surgery is always hard, what does your doctor say?

Chewing gum helped me (with the gas), and there are other recommendations on endo-resolved.com and erc.activboard.org/ (google it if it doesn't come up)

Plus there are OTC gas pills

Did you go to an exper for surgery? I have read of women who have laps with their ob/gyns having bad pain after, because not all the endo has been removed.

you can read some info on the erc site, and on centerforendo.com, naprotechnology.com, endometriosissurgeon.com, endoexcision.com

what kind of pain meds are you using? pain patches (prescribed) can also help
