Actually, it's a progestin, a synthetic version of progesterone (which
is naturally occurring female hormone). I think all the synthetic
hormones kind of warp our endo implants, maybe it's affecting the
hormone receptors on or in the implants we have.
Good luck w/continuing with the Seasonique. I hope it helps. When you
get off of it, you'll probably get the same pain level, so maybe you can
look into excision surgery (if the pain gets really bad).
