Re: Endometriosis Question about bleeding and painFrom: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Jun 24 21:46:16 2009
I have read and heard of women having problems from the diaphragm such as bleeding :( If those cysts are chocolate cysts / endometriosis, this would be indicative of other endo :( You say you have endo, have you had a lap? Where did they find the endo? Did you have a lot of pain before trying these meds? You shouldn't take estrogen anyway, because it can make endo worse :( Have you had a sonogram, where those things were found? Polyps show up on some, if they're large enough, that can also cause bleeding. So do fibroids, but I imagine that would show up on the sonogram. I didn't want the diaphragm because of the bleeding problems I'd read about. they believe I have adeno, which some docs use the progestin / diaphragm to try to treat. I use natural bio-identical progesterone, after having had my hormones tested close to my period, some time ago.
