Hi everyone- I had surgery last August at the CEC with Dr. Sinervo. Wonderful experience, and it changed my life. BUT, now I'm still battling with my insurance to get the maximum benefit payment. They are denying parts of the charges as per "usual and customary fees". So... I am hoping you ladies can help me. If you have had endo excision surgery with a specialist in the past year or two, I would LOVE to have lists of the charges incurred and charged to insurance. The specific procedures I had (and their insurance codes) are: Supracervical Hyst (CPT 58541) Laparoscopy with Excision of Lesions (CPT 58662) Hysteroscopy (CPT 58555) Lap w/ Removal of Adnexal Structures (CPT 58661) Essentially, I had a supracervial hyst for adenomyosis, excision surgery and removal of bilateral ovarian cysts. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if you have had similar procedures and would be willing to share some financial/insurance info, send me an email! I can help anybody who would like help with appeals, research materials, etc. And as always, I'll gladly share my experiences at the CEC. Thanks!!!
