My pain is back after 2 years!!!!! WHY ME!!!!!!!!!!!!From: YASHIVA (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Jun 17 22:01:14 2009
HI EVERYONE! I'm new to this forum. I just joined today. I wanted to let you know that I totally understand what you are going through. I am 30 now but I began having terrible menstrual cramps at the age of 16. I went through 4 gynecologist before I found one that actually listened to my problems and agreed that I had a problem versus doctors writing prescriptions for pain medicine and saying that "it's just cramps"! Too make a long story short, I was finally diagnosed with stage III endo February 2007. I had surgery and then began 6 months of Lupron. Other than the horrible hot flashes I think I had a good experience. Lupron combined with my surgery did help me but unfortunately its been 2 years and all of my symptoms are back! I am in so much chronic pain and my gyn thinks that I have another endometrioma cyst on the left ovary again. I go back tomorrow to get the results of my ultrasound and find out if its surgery time again. I wish I had found out about this site when I first began going through my emotions with coping with endo. I think the hardest part for me coping with this is that my family and friends really dont understand what I'm going through. I stay in my room, go to work if I'm not in terrible pain and I really don't feel like doing anything. My back hurt so bad some days that I keep a pillow at work to use to help relieve the pain. This morning my mom saw it and said that I'm faking and that I'm making this worse that what it actually is. Until someone actually experience the life of living with endo that cant understand what we go through.
