I know the pain you talked about! There were times even painkiller
didn't help. Going to ER meant the hours of wait which was worst as I
couldn't even lie down in bed. So there were time I rather not going to
ER and wanted to die.
Now taking prescribed painkiller well in advance helped a little. Also
a medication reducing bleeding also helped a quite bit (I used to use
adult diaper instead of sanitary pad. That's how heavy it was.) Yet I
still have to lie in bed and not do anything. There are still time the
pain is unbearable. It was some "relief" that the pain is not 24 hours
around the clock.
