Re: Getting a unilateral oophorectomy in July, any info would be great.

I read what is rich in vitamin K, and I do get plenty of those
vegetables. I had a ct scan and an ultrasound just recently and the
cannot find anything obvious that is causing the pain, nor did they
during the last surgeries. I have read that endometriosis can be inside
the ovary, not nessecarily in one large implant but in a bunch of small
ones, not making the ovary inlarged. That is what I think is going on
with it. That or it's just that this ovary hates me and wants my life
to suck. The doctor pushed on my ovary during my appt. and saw for
himself how tender it is, which it always is. He made sure I had no
other bladder or bowel problems for him to be worried about. I also
went to a GI doctor last week and he didn't feel like there was anything
going on with my GI track or bowels. This has been a process of
elemination and with no sure reason for the pain, so I'm just getting
this thing out and the doctor thinks that this could be the mystery to
never getting relief from anything I have done. I have been in pain way
too long to not do anything drastic about it at this point. Except
taking Lupron I will not take it. I am young but, I have thought about
and considered all the things that may and may not happen with the
surgery. I just am worried about going back to work and walking a like
a 95 pound dog that pulls on it's walk, that's a big dog to me. I'm a
tiny girl. I don't know that 2 weeks is enough time for things to heal
nicely before having a beast of that size pull on my body. I know what
happens with the surgery and all that I just really want to know some
personal experiences of those who have had one done too. I will check
out hystersisters though, thanks for the suggestion. Thanks for your
help both of you, I apprecitate it.
