The scoop on the DaVinci Robot is it helps recovery times. Nothing
else. It still does the same thing as traditional excision it just
allows the doctor a super close up look with as minimal blood loss as
possible and through smaller holes. My recovery time was about 2 weeks.
I will tell you this, it's expensive. Very expensive for the Davinci.
Knowing what my surgery cost with my insurance in Texas, and knowing
what the CEC cost, I would tell you to go to the CEC. Although my
surgery went great with the Davinci, I could have gone to Atlanta for
nearly the same cost.
