I'd send my records to an excision specialist and get their opinion. What part of the country are you in? You can join the doctor recomendation board, it's connected with erc.activboard.com/

Progesterone might help, see johnleemd.com, with symptoms while you decide what to do.

Your doctor doesn't really know how to treat endo, though. For that, you need an endo expert.

for diet changes, see endo-resolved.com and endometriosis.org
