Re: Is this normal?

It took me a lot longer to recover from my surgeries than I thought...the ovaries can have a lot of pain, for a few months post-op, and if you still have any endo, that could be painful I imagine..

I also had bowel adhesions, so that didn't help! I think that area is very sensitive, so that could be the problem..even going near the bowel can bother it, i think...

I think perhaps the stress and boredom can trigger sugar cravings....there are some supplements like chromium that can help with cravings...

i hate to venture a guess, but some of what you are going through sounds like what i went through, after my first surgery....i guess you didn't have excision surgery with an endo expert? you might like reading the sites below, to learn some more things about surgery...

i did have surgery with a doc who said he was an excision endo expert...it took me a long time to recover...and in some ways, i never fully recovered, because i had so many adhesions....i ended up going to another doctor (endo expert, more experience), and during the surgery they found a ton of adhesions....

if you're nausea is very bad, the doc can give you a med for it...i was very nauseous after the first surgery, because i'd had endo removed from the bowel...when i had the second surgery, it turned out that i had adhesions from the first one, tying my uterus to my bowel (i was throwing up sometimes in the months before the 2nd surgery)...i have been great since the 2nd one in that regard! no throwing up, no nausea, no bowel problems...
