I recently had a splenectomy(infarction), a right hemi colectomy (large polyp),a liver wedge resection(hemangioma) & an appendectomy.I then got an abscess & had to have my abdomen cleaned out. It has been 5 months & I now have endo of the colon & lung. I bleed thru my rectum with my periods & have severe shortness of breath. I am realy anxious as to how my general surgeon is going to treat this since I only have half a bowel. Should I be treated by a general surgeon?
