Re: A comment regarding negativity of :upron

Actually, it has nothing to do with being angry or having the right to
be angry about endo, Lupron, or it's potential side effects. Those who
have been down the Lupron road are simply responding with their personal
experiences when asked. That's it. A newly diagnosed endo patient
finds this site, asks questions about this disease and relates that
their doctor is recommending a very potentially dangerous drug that is
only a short-term band-aid (if that), and then gets upset when they feel
that others (who truly KNOW endo and Lupron all too well!) are being
"negative" about it. It has absoloutely nothing to do with trying to be
negative or angry at all! It has to do only with the TRUTH, and sadly,
when it comes to endo and Lupron, the TRUTH is very ugly...but it's
still the TRUTH!! There have been a few posters that have gone
over-board in my opinion, but I still know that what they are saying is
real and they are only sharing what they have already learned the hard
way, to try and save another woman from going through the same, negative
experience they have already been through. It's pretty simple to
understand. Those who have already been there are trying to help those
who are headed in the same direction a lot of time and trouble by being
as honest as possible. Yes, it's hard to hear, but it's even worse to
live through it, then try to help others out with much needed info, only
to be continually told they are "being too negative"! Sadly, there is
nothing positive about endometriosis, Lupron, or major surgery. Why
should any of it be sugar-coated? Endo is a horrible disease to live
with and Lupron is a horrible drug to have ravaging one's body and mind,
and many, many women end up with PERMANENT NEGATIVE side-effects from
both.
