Hi Leanne,
I'm obviously not a doc, but it sounds like endo.
I had never heard of endo and had a lap done a few months ago. Doc put
me on lupron, but it caused too many side effects and my pain never went
away. Personally, I have pain every single day with endo, its not
cyclical for me, can't speak for anyone else though. he kept saying it
was going to get better, but it didnt. He also said that he would
probably need to do another surgery after my lupron run. The thing w/
lupron is it just suppresses it for awhile, it doesnt make it go away.
I would go for the lap surgery - but with an excision
surgeon/specialist. The reason I was on the lupron was b/c the doc
couldnt get everything out (he was an obgyn/fertility specialist, not an
endo specialist). Feel free to post/email me personally if you have any
questions, and hang in tbere!!
