Speaking of insurance issues (as noted in prior posts below), I really
found a great explanation on Youtube!
If you visit youtube and conduct a search on endo and Dr. Harry Reich
(the pioneer of laparoscopic excision for endo), there is a one-on-one
interview with him regarding endo, the treaments, and WHY insurance
doesn't cover these procedures.
On another note . . . I had a WONDERFUL experience at the CEC with
Dr. Sinervo (Dr. Albee was also present during surgery). I cannot
speak highly enough about the experience. Also, I know their was some
justifiable complaints about the recovery room nursing staff at
Northside, but I had a really good experience. When I voiced my
concerns PRIOR to my surgery to the CEC, Dr. Sinervo immediately
emailed me to ensure me that the CEC has had countless meetings with
Northside executives regarding these problems and the majority have been
resolved. With that in mind, the CEC keeps a KEEN EYE on their patients
and their recovery experience to ensure a positive experience.
Hugs everyone,
Another endo sister!
