Re: Positive experience with Danazol

Yes, I have tried Danazol as a treatment option and found it to be very effective. The side effects are bad, but they are reversable. I had acne, some hair on chin, lip, hot flashes, deepening of voice (reversed itself and went back to normal). Despite these side effects, I found it was more tolerable than Lupron. It's convenient, because you can take the pills and don't have to have a shot. The period came back after I stopped treatment, and the pain came back after about 7 months. It's definitely worth a try and imo, much better than Lupron.
