Amy,

I'm so sorry for your struggles. TTC with endo really sucks!

I did have two unsucessful IUIs using my husband's sperm. Doctor has recommended IVF for us, but we are declining that option as we do not want to take any of the associated drugs required (ie. Lupron). We don't consider putting my health at risk worth it to have a baby. Natural IVF would be a great choice, but I've only been able to find one clinic in NYC that offers it.

We are currently in the adoption process. Domestic adoption is cheaper than international and there is plenty of help out there to make it affordable for you. The biggest thing is that you can take an almost $11,000 tax credit on your federal taxes. Some states also offer some additional credits, plus there's all sorts of grants and financial assistance. If you want some of this info, I can get it to you! Also, I know that adoptions through the state agencies are usually free as these are usually older children or ones with special needs.

The best part about adoption is that you have a way greater chance of sucessfully ending up with a child than IUI or IVF could ever offer :)
