Recovery time is a few weeks; 4-7 days out of work depending on your job, and 2-4 weeks on 'light duty' depending on how fast you heal and how extensive the surgery was. Mine is going to outpatient, they usually are unless there are other circumstances involved. As for getting pregnant... don't rush having sex and hurt yourself, but as soon as you feel comfortable doing that I would think it would be ok. Your doctor can advise you better about that.
