Hello Ladies, I have to stop in on Thanksgiving Day to let you know how thankful I am that an excision specialist completely gave my life back to me. Several years ago he did excision on me and, at my request, a hysterectomy, too. He found endometriosis that other doctors had totally missed. I have been doing extremely well since my surgery and it's almost as if I never had endo. The only way I know that I had it is that my heart remains heavy, years later, for the women who are still suffering. I know that Dr. Robbins shares info with the other highly regarded surgeons (Redwine, Albee, etc.). I am thankful that some people do know how to make us feel better again, but I am sad that their methods are not the state-of-the-art. Best wishes to everyone who's still suffering. I truly hope you all can find the kind of wonderful relief from this horrid illness that I found when I became Dr. Robbins's patient. If anyone out there is thankful for their "cure," or at least for something that made them feel better, I'd love to hear about it.
