Niki is right, it completely depends on the stage of your endo.
They can do the HSG test during excision surgery. The HSG can be
painful if you are awake, but it's also the best way to find out if your
tubes are blocked. Excision specialists are very limited in the United
States so please consider doing the correct excision surgery first,
rather than letting a regular OBGYN do a lap on you first. I say this
from experience. Each surgery causes scar tissue and does not usually
help out your fertility situation because it can cause adhesions and
such.
If you post your location online, there maybe an endo specialist in your
area. Just throw it out there and see what you get!
The CEC is a great place and you can get a free consult by sending in
your records to them.
Best of luck!
