I just had laparoscopy 2 days ago on friday, She originally went in to look, but like you I wanted her to take out what ever she found, she did remove 3 areas of endo.

Where I messed things up a bit, was she had mentioned that she had a theory that the endo was on my bowel. I had read on line it's safer to do bowel prep so that if she tried to remove it & damaged the bowel she could repair the bowel & the contents wouldn't be inside my body. So i pushed the issue of having a bowel prep. She reluctantly agreed & told me after the surgery that bowel prep made it difficult for her to treat me because my "bowel was all over the place" so trust your doctor!
