Hi, I was diagnosed with Endo in 2002. They cut out a foot of my lower intestine because the endo was all over it and did the other surgery using lap procedure for the ovary area. During that procedure, the endo broke off when they were taking it out and it embedded at the origin of the incision at the belly button. I went again for surgery by the same doctor to remove the remaining endo. A chunk of my muscle was also cut out in a disproportionate way. It is now 4 years later and I the endo in my belly has grown and with growth comes the ridiculous itching! I am also having extreme pain in my lower intestine and was wondering if it was there as well. I have gone to three doctors in NC and am looking for someone to recommend a specialist. Currently the only response I receive is stay on birth control pills and additional pain medication. I look to have a family one day and only taking birth control is not a solution as I can feel the endo growing inside me as the itching increases along with the pain and the region where the pain exists. I am open to the specialists being in any area of the US. If there is one good enough with the proper background, I would even consider going outside of the US. I think this forum is great because I see a lot of people discussing the things I deal with every day. Thanks

S
