Hi Bren. Cannot help you directly with your question but thought I would tell you that I had surgery in 2001. I had all endo lasered and lysis on a colon adhesion. The first month my period was worse than ever, the second, same as with the endo, and the third was pain free. My endometriosis has not returned. But it took three months for all to feel good inside even though it only took me a week to recover from the lap. For two days after the surgery I thought relief had been instant but it was just the pain relief from the operation masking it all. Find your specialist but hold fire before you do anything just in case yoiu are still on the mend.
