Hi Bren, I hope you get some information from him!! That would be wonderful. I too am so frustrated with kaiser. It took quite some time to be properly diagnosed and I have been to some awful doctors. I was told I had IBS, cysts, urine infection and also the standard, "just bad periods" which was the most frustrating! it was so hard to be persistent because I just knew it was more than that since i would constantly throw up/pass out, be immobile for days from the pain since high school and it was just unbearable. Finally my dr wanted to do the surgery and she was an ob/gyn specialist but she wasn't great. she definitely found endo but it was more in the cul-de sac region, and also my bowels were wrapped around my appendix, which was causing the horrific stomach pains (i think). interestingly she never really went through my surgery with me, even post-op visit. she told my parents what she found but i never heard it straight from her and she never gave me a stage number that i see a lot of people have. again, she was awful. :( Anyways, it's still painful but now i am dealing with horrible migraines every day, although they get worse around the time i should have my period (my dr had me stop periods, so i just go from one pack of pills to the next after the 3rd week...im not thrilled about this though, i just dont think it can be good to stop your periods) so i am under a nuerlogist care at kaiser in baldwin park but i got so fed up with all the medications and visits that i just stopped everything. so now i am loolking for a new gyno with some endo knowledge that can also help with my migraines. so. that is a very very brief blurb about my issues! i hope you find a dr that can help! i feel so defeated that i feel terrible every day and im only 23!! What about you? >
