Adhesion and IVFFrom: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Oct 27 07:30:13 2008
Sorry if my English not good enough, I'll try the best to explain my condition. I am 37 years old, married 2 years , don't have kids yet. I have my first cyst when I was 27. It just happened after 8 months my appendix surgery (it's blew up). My 1st cyst (in the right side)surgery with laparatomy method. On 2007, after 1 year married, I found another chocolate cysts in both left and right sides.I have laparascopy on Feb 2007 and GnRH (Tapros) injection for 3 months. On August 2007, the cysts back again in both sides. But in a few month, the cyst on left side has gone but in the right side getting bigger. HSG result both of tubes blocks (hydosalping bilateral, non patent), uterus big and normal. A few months ago, we moved to Cape Town (we're originally from Indonesia) and decided to get another laparascopy. I had USG and the result (seems) there's cyst 8cm in the right side. There's nothing see in the left side. After laparascopy, doctor told me, there's a huge ball (about 7cm) above the uterus and some adhesion made all in the right side stuck. He even can't see the uterus. The "ball" filled with yellow liquid (he said it's not like chocolate cysts usually)and had some tissue sample for lab. At the moment he thought that's abses. Lab result told that's no cancer. It's because infection. The probelm is doctor can't do anything. He told he can't go thru my uterus because that "ball" made him see nothing. He had did dried all the liquid but the endometriosis in the right side still there. The last USG, the size is 4cm. He said he doesn't know if there's cyst in the left side because the camera can't go thru due to the "ball". Even in the last USG we seen nothing in the left side, he didn't sure. I really want to have babies. We'll try IVF. Doctor said I need to come next January to get some injection. He wanted to see if my eggs can grow, if it not he'll give up. I am really sad. I want to know is it possible my eggs will grow? If we see nothing (USG) is it mean there's no cyst? I don't want to have egg donor (if possible) so is it any treatmeant I should do to get pregnant due to my condition? Please help... I am starting desparate. Thank you for the answer. Rita
