Does anyone know of an Endometriosis Specialist w/in Kaiser Permanente? From: bren (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun Oct 26 15:39:14 2008
Hello everyone, I have Kaiser Permanente Insurance and had lap surgery for endo w/ an obgyn specialist a month ago and am still having pain & symptoms. (Sciatic pain, painful-heavy-long periods, sweats/hot flashes, Nausea, constipation, etc)..you name it I probably suffer(ed) from it....My primary care physician does not know of any in Kaiser and I can only go to Kaiser, as Kaiser only accepts Kaiser Insurance. =( I really want to see an endo specialist and can not afford to see one w/o insurance especially when I get really good coverage @ Kaiser. I only had to pay $10 for my laparoscopy surgery...but then again, it wasn't w/ an endo specialist. *sigh* I live in Southern California and if anyone can help me w/ info about Kaiser and a specialist for endo/adeno, it'd be grately appreciated. My obgyn specialist who performed my lap referred me to another obgyn but one who specializes in urology (to have a cystocopy for my bladder symptoms) and the earliest appt I was able to get was in Dec. I'm just a complex patient w/ so many symptoms that I'm probably a doctor's worse nightmare. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you!
