I had a lap back in July, thought I'd bounce back, and ended up in the ER 2 weeks later (at the weekend) with very bad pain: I had actually come off the percocet and then had to start taking it again. It turned out to be an internal bleed that was turning into an abcess. After the experience I had, I would go if I were you. You also want to be really careful about avoiding bladder infections: they can back up into your kidneys. Good luck.
