Is this normal one week after a lap?

Hi ladies, I had a lap last Friday with excision on endo/adhesions, an appendectomy & presacral neurectomy. My recovery has been really slow and hard thus far. I just started being fully mobile on Thursday and it really hurts to be up and moving around for longer than five minutes. I still have the same amount of pain I had after surgery, I can't tell when I have to pee, I can't tell if my bladder is empty after I've finished peeing, I have pain having a bowel movement, and my stomach is so sore from taking so many painkillers that I can't take any more. I called the doctor and he said to go to the ER and get a scan done of my bladder to see if it was emptying properly, but didn't address any of the other things going on. Now I don't want to go to the ER to have the scan done since I could wait until Monday & get it done at my doctor's office for MUCH cheaper (I'm broke after this surgery) but if the other issues I'm having are something abnormal I will go. Any advice? Has anyone else had a really long recovery like this?
