My last operation was 2 years ago and have been on provera for 18 months. for the first year I was feeling great, the pain had gone and things were good. The past six months things have changed, I have had pain in my left side and digestive issues! I had a scan a couple of weeks ago that didnt show anything but they put it down to adhesions that was causing the pain?? I am seeing my doctor after xmas to ask the same question. My GP said if he was unable to get all of the endo it can grow back slowly with other sources of estrogen? whether this is true who knows. The only way to find out is another laposcopy. I have gained weight but have increased my exercise. At the moment the pain isnt as bad as last time so I will continue on the depo provera and go from there.
