such pain! help!

When I was a teen I had very heavy periods of 5-7 days and extreme cramping. I was given Ponstan, an antispasmodic, for the pain. I complained of periodic sharp pains in the pelvic region but was told that if the pain went away, it was not appendicitis and therefore not a problem. I had mood swings and depression and this was treated separately with anti depressants, counselling, and birth control pills. I complained of bleeding between periods and was given a stronger birth control pill. The new pill drove me insane...literally. I cried non stop every day that I took it and had some relief for the 7 days a month off. Eventually I stopped all drugs.

I currently have crying rage fits, especially severe around Day 17 of my menstrual cycle. I have a dull ache in my lower right pelvic area...so low it is almost on the pelvic floor (maybe around the bladder or ovaries?) that comes and goes in severity but is now an almost constant pain. I have suffered acne for 30 years. I have been on a waiting list for years to have this horrible pain diagnosed. I kept getting brushed off and so I refused to leave the last doctor's office until I had a diagnosis, however, she could not do that without a pelvic ultrasound and she wrote me down for one right then and there. However, I am still on the waiting list almost a year later. I can't stand this pain any more!

Can depression/rage be associated with endometriosis? Could my pelvic pain be endo? Although intercourse may not be totally comfortable, it is not exactly painful either. Can I still have endo? My menstrual bleeding is no longer heavy, nor does it last 5-7 days like it did 30 years ago. It now is heavy the first day or two, then stops completely for 12-24 hours and then a gush of red blood comes all at once, followed by brown staining for a couple of days. There is brown staining BEFORE my period. My depression peaks and when the staining starts around Day 17, the moods lessen. My period starts around Day 23, but it is no longer regular. It can start anywhere from Day 18 to Day 26. However, I never miss one! In fact, I have periods when I am PREGNANT! For my last 3 babies, I had unusual events. One showed TWO sacs in utero on ultrasound, but next U/S one had disappeared. NExt preg I had bleeding so heavy it soaked through jeans and made a pool of blood on the ground. It seemed like a miscarriage, but the U/S showed everything fine. After a couple of days, the "period" stopped. On the last preg the same thing happened, excessive bleeding around 6-8 weeks but the U/S showed nothing missing at all. Could endo explain this? Could there be some kind of tissue growing in my uterus, creating hormones (explains the mood swings) and reacting to hormones, that grows like a foetus (reacting to the hormones) but then miscarries as it is not really a baby?

I guess anything is possible. But what can I do? How can I treat this?
