I would go with a endometriosis specialist. Im not sure which dr you
plan to see but with it being that extensive I would seek an excision
specialist. Are you discussing Dr Kanamaya? I think is how its spelled.
I believe he is in New York Also a Dr Orbuch (sp) I believe is in New
York too. The non board certified excision specialist worries me. Why
are they not board certified? To many malpractice suits? If your done
having children, I would suggest the excision and possible hysterectomy.
If that is what you want to do. I am not sure if going on HRT is a good
idea because if any endo is left, it will feed off of HRT as endo feeds
of estrogen. Its like throwing gasoline on a fire. Make sure the dr
you see plans to excise (cut out NOT laser off) all endo found. That
way you have the best possible relief from your pain. Good Luck and let
