Re: Constant bleeding with birth control

Hi Bren,
I went through the same thing. I was started on Desogen continuously
(don't remember the brand name) and the heavy bleeding started literally
a week after taking it and continued for 3 months! My doctor decided to
put me on the estrogen patch to see if that could stop the bleeding.
Again, this made it 10x worse! He suspected I was super sensitive to
Estrogen and took me off of both and started me on a progesterone only
pill (POP) called Mircet (brand name is Erin). Again, not even that
worked. I just had my first Depo Provera shot and so far, so good. The
bleeding has stopped (finally). I just hope it will work for more than
a month!
Hope this helps!
