2 weeks today since my 1st lap - still confused

Hi all,

It has been 2 weeks today since my first Laparoscopy where the diagnosed me with endo and removed all they saw.

My incisions look good and are healing great. I still have a little pain around them to the touch but I think this is from the bruising.

I have been having off and on mild to moderate what seems to feel like period cramps, like what i usually feel when i am about to get my period. It is not constant just off and on. I am not supposed to get my period for another 2 weeks. I called my Dr. and the nurse said this sounds normal but if it gets worse to call.

Other than that I still feel lost, confused, useless. I just don;t know what to expect. The doctor never told me exactly where the endo was found, he just said that it was stage 1 and that everything looked fine as far as me having children but he suggested that i should have 1 in the next year or two or the endo would be back just as bad as before the surgery or worse and i would need another lap. It is just all confusing.

Have any of you with stage 1 had any problems getting pregnant. I am just scared because i just don;t know. How fast does this disease progress????

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you everyone for this board. It kind of keeps me from going crazy. No one to talk to :( People just don't understand.
