Here is my list of bladder meds for IC.

Sanctura Xr 60 mg - 1 a day in the morning before any food Feldene 20 mg- 1 a day Macrodantin 100 mg- 1 daily Utira C .12mg- 3 times a day (turns urine blue) Hydroxyzine Hcl 25 mg - 1 a day at bedtime Elavil 50 mg- 1 a day at bedtime (this is for the endo pain and bladder pain) Both doctors agreed on this one.

Also I have added whole leaf aloe vera tablets. They are 450 mg - 1 a day. - this is something that the IC association recommends.

This has worked like a charm for myself and another co-worker that referred me to this awesome doctor. He told me that he does not prescribe Elmiron unless he tries several combinations like this one without success because of Elmiron's side affects.

I had severe IC. I had blood in my urine and was not sleeping at all due to bladder pain. Good news is that in 6 months time I am doing great with the IC. I still have to watch what I eat and I cannot have caffeine at all, but it has been worth it.
