Re: Endo and digestive problems?

OOPS! I hit the wrong button and sent that last reply before I was done writing it! LOL

Anyway, count me in on the gastro issues! I always had severe nausea and vomiting when I would have a period, along with bloating, diarhhea(sp?) or constipation and that certain pain that comes along with those symptoms. I was also diagnosed with IBS, although nothing was found when I had a complete GI work-up. I think that IBS is another blanket diagnosis that is given when "nothing" is really found and the doctors are not sure what is causing the GI symptoms.

I had a TAH in '04 so I no longer have a period, but I still suffer with pretty bad nausea & vomiting, bloating and constipation.(sorry-TMI!) I've been told by doctors that the nausea is from the severe pain I'm in daily, or it's a side-effect of the meds I take daily and the bloating is from the endo keeping everything inflamed. That makes more sense to me than the IBS diagnosis ever has. Who knows? I do know that there are soo many other endo patients that have these same issues. Surely we don't all have endo and IBS, do we!?
