My reasons for getting the Mirena is the sameas most didn't want to worry about birth control everyday, wanted less if anycycles. At first my body had to get adjusted to it and YES it did. I'm sorry tohear (read) about so many people who's been having problems with theirs. I absolutelylove it. My fiance' and I had a baby in November 07 and we want another one notjust right now. I'm glad to know that I have something that will allow me toplan when I want to have my next baby. My gyno was right on the money. He told me exactly what my body would go through and it did just as he said. Yes, it waspainful at first but after about 4 month my body adjusted. I raved about it somuch that some of friends went and got it and they haven't had any problemsother than the obvious. I forget that I have the Mirena until I see somethingpop up on my computer screen concerning birth control. I hope I was able to helpsomeone. I'm 5'6, 26 yrs old, and weigh about 180 in fairly good shape. Thanks
