Hi,

I've had the Mirena since Jan 08. My reasons for getting the Mirena is the same as most didn't want to worry about birth control everyday, wanted less if any cycles. At first my body had to get adjusted to it and YES it did. I'm sorry to hear (read) about so many people who's been having problems with theirs. I absolutely love it. My fiance' and I had a baby in November 07 and we want another one not just right now. I'm glad to know that I have something that will allow me to plan when I want to have my next baby. My gyno was right on the money. He told me exactly what my body would go through and it did just as he said. Yes, it was painful at first but after about 4 month my body adjusted. I raved about it so much that some of friends went and got it and they haven't had any problems other than the obvious. I forget that I have the Mirena until I see something pop up on my computer screen concerning birth control. I hope I was able to help someone. I'm 5'6, 26 yrs old, and weigh about 180 in fairly good shape.

Thanks
