Hi. I've been a member of this group for quite awhile and just wanted to let you know about my positive experience with Dr. Redwine. Prior to having surgery with him I went thru 5 surgeries and the endo always came back. I had stage 4. I live in Chicago and have access to a lot of good doctors but back when I had my last surgery none of them cut it out, so in my case it always came back. I did MY OWN research and found Dr. Redwine. I had surgery with him in October of 2003. I am still going strong. After other surgeries I had pain within a month or two. To me the fact that the surgeries ended and the pain ended was truley a miracle. The first time I got my period after the surgery I wasn't even aware of it until I started bleeding. That just amazed me. For me anyway that was incredible, since ever since my first period I would start having pain long before I started to bleed. Now I hear Dr. Miller is cutting, in Park Ridge, IL. He is in Chicagoland area, so hopfully if you live here in Chicago you won't have to go as far as I did. Still, for me Dr. Redwine was fantastic and I tell everyone I know about him. By the way I run a support group for endo sufferers at Northwestern Hospital in downtown Chicago. If anyone wants more info please email me.
