Hello everyone, I just came from the gyn and she has recommended me to go on the Mirena IUD and go to physical therapy. Has anyone done any of these treatments? Any success? Also, are the horror stories true about Mirena? (That's all I seem to find on the internet! But from ladies without any gynecologic issues!) A bit about what I'm dealing with: I've been diagnosed with endometriosis, adenomyosis, interstitial cystitis & pelvic floor myalgia. Had a laparoscopy (laser, bladder hyperextension & instillation) last year and have been suppressing my period with BC since (With Levlen & Nortrel) Recently been bleeding for the past month and a half (continuous, heavy & light), experiencing hot flashes & nausea. Tried taking estrogen to stop bleeding (due to an extremely thin uterine lining) but did nothing. Nothing abnormal showed up on the ultrasound. A hysterectomy is out of question as I'm 24. Anyone experience anything similar? Any treatment suggestions? What the hell works!!!! AHHH!!! Thank you all!!!
